Job Summary

The ASMED project has a regional office in Kandahar that requires 6 watchmen for the observing and security of the building. The watchmen under the regional admin / finance officer will ensure that the office and its assets are regularly observed and its security is ensured.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Watchmen will be responsible primarily for the following:
-Observing the building and the outside area all the time
-Ensure security of personnel and office property including vehicles and other assets
-Maintain visitors register log
-Open and Close office doors / gate for the office staffs, guests and office vehicles
-Proper use, fueling and maintain of the office generators
-At closure of work day ensure that office machines and all unnecessary lights are turned off
-Ensure that office water tank is full at all the times
-Perform other tasks as needed

Job Requirements

•Primary education preferred
•Minimum 1 year similar working experience
•Fluent in Dari and Pashto
•Highly organized
