Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the provincial manager, the Watchman is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of the buildings and surrounding vicinities of the compound. The incumbent also keeps the center in clean and orderly condition maintain office cleaning on daily basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Identify visitors to the center;

Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created;

Maintain visitors logbook;

Control and inspection of materials entering the office;

Control and check of cars park outside the building;

Ensure the gate is closed;

Operate and maintain generator log;

Ensure lighting around the building;

Provide the visitor tag accompany visitor to meeting room;

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them;

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

Must be graduated from high school.

Must have minimum one year experience as security watchman and one year as cleaner with NGOs or International Organizations.

Committed to hard work and customer service oriented.

Must be able to read and write Dari and Pashto.
