Job Summary

Web developer plans, create and develop websites for ESO’s Projects, using both non-technical and technical skills to produce websites that fits the ESO’s requirements. Web designer involved in the technical and graphical aspects of pages, producing not just the look of the website but determining how it works as well. Web designer is also responsible for the maintenance of the existing ESO’s websites. Additionally web designer will be responsible to communicate with outsider web developing company to develop a MIS system for one of the ESO’s project called ELCLC, after the MIS system is developed the web designer will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of this system.

Duties & Responsibilities

Registering web domains and organizing the hosting of the websites

Coding using a variety of software

Working with different content management systems

Create wire frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Search engine optimization

Designing the website’s visual imagery and ensuring it’s in line with NGO branding policy

Editing content, debugging code and re-designing websites and web pages

Liaising with outside agencies for development of the MIS system

Upgrading sites by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.

Regularly testing websites and staffs’ official email accounts to ensure they are working

Protects site by designing and installing security precautions

Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

Job Requirements

Candidate must be graduated from BCA, BCS, BIT or any other related field

Full control over HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and CMSs

Candidate must be familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw or other visual design and wire-Framing tools

Solid experience in creating wire frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
