Assure a quality X-ray for the patient in a trauma hospital. For that, the main activities will be:
Maintenance of accurate and reliable registers.
Daily monitoring and organisation of the X-ray.
Management and control of X-ray material and maintenance.
Compliance to Standard precaution against the X-ray.
• Responsible for Radiology service provision
• To produce images of adequate diagnostic quality
• To keep accurate record of all images produced, and to be able to provide weekly summaries of all radiography work completed
• Communicate with patients and staff in a clear and respectful manner and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment according to maintenance schedule including adherence to a regular cleaning schedule of equipment, and to alert supervisor of malfunctions/problems
• To uphold all radiation safety regulations, to ensure that staff/patients are following these regulations, and to inform staff about radiography safety
• To ensure that all areas of radiation are clearly marked and respected
• Undertake regular Quality Assurance checks on equipment and radiographs
ADDITIONAL TASKS
ï‚§ Participate in all trainings, meetings or campaigns organized by MSF.
ï‚§ On request perform any other additional duties given by the immediate supervisor in order to allow the organisation to function optimal

a) Report the task on daily basis to her/his supervisor

This job description can be modified according to the evolution of work.
Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday: 08:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:00
This schedule may be modified according to the seasons and special events (i.e Ramadan).
- X-ray training ;
- Experience in a similar position is an asset;
- Experience in an international organisation, NGO is an asset;
- Basic English level oral and written, Good Dari oral and written, Pashtu is an asset;
- Very organized person able to plan his/her work in advance, autonomous and rigorous;
- Motivation to work in an international/inter-cultural context and humanitarian and team spirit.
- Dynamic, flexible, adaptable;
- Sense of responsibility and care;
