Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Job Summary

Responsibilities are:

Duties & Responsibilities

1.  Motto of Business Development department is under promise over deliver.


2.  Upon joining every BDI has to submit in writing, his own view that how he will provide Exemplary service to our customer.


3.  Business Development Intern are responsible for the hardcore sales activity. It is a target-oriented job, BD Intern have to visit door to door on daily basis and bring business, bring deposit.


Business development Intern, will be judged and evaluated on the basis of following.


·   Target achievement

·   Punctuality

·   Professional appearance i.e dress code and neatness

·   Commitment towards his work

·   Timely delivery of services

·   Customer dealing ability


Business development Intern, will report directly to the Business Development Head and will perform following tasks.


1.    Help team with planning for customer visits according to the target market strategy.

2.    Coordinate with Customer Relationship officer for appointments.

3.    Assist in daily visits of potential customers.

4.    Maintain personal relationship with customer.

5.    Maintain Regards of clients for Customer Relationship Management.

6.    Filling.

7.    Correspondence with the customer of his own territory.

8.    Help team with market feedback.

9.    Get five references from each visiting client and provide it to the customer Relationship Officer.

10.   Fills up daily and weekly report.

11.   Get knowledge of Existing and upcoming products and services from Business Development Head.


To attend to any other matter that may not have been mentioned in this document but advised by head of Department.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

·    BBA marketing will be preferred but not mandatory, BSc, Economics (Male graduates of 2024; female graduates from 2021 onward)

·    No Experience required
