Afghan Women Association for Rehabilitation and Development (AWARD) is an Afghan Non-Governmental, Non-Political and not for Profit Organization dedicated to the social, civic and economic integration of Afghan Women, Person with disabilities, Returnees & IDPs, Youths and other vulnerable population in Afghanistan. AWARD been registered with Ministry of Economy under registration number# 97 in 2005.

Job Summary

The case workers will be responsible for conducting interview with IDPs/Returnees, Identifying their needs and conduct their vulnerability screening in Nangarhar & Kabul Provinces of Afghanistan. S/he will report to project manager on daily bases.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assessing cases and compiling case reports containing relevant information.
• Ensuring that case reports are kept up to date.
• Providing support, guidance and counsel to families in need.
• Making referrals or introductions to other agencies.
• Scheduling and escorting individuals to appointments with legal aid workers, counselors, doctors, etc.
• Monitoring visits between at-risk or fragile children and family members.
• Motivating individuals to participate in rehabilitation programs.
• Conducting Online/Off-line interview with returnees, Identify their vulnerabilities and needs
• Any other task assigned by the direct supervisor

Job Requirements

• University Degree in Commination, Public Relation, Public Administration, Law, Political Science, BBA and any other related field
• Experience,3 years in related field preferably in the humanitarian sector
• Well experienced in project planning, management and have the Ability to plan, organize and carry out activities with limited supervision from supervisors.
• Ability to communicate and submit reports in both spoken and written.
• Good English writing and speaking skills
• Fluency in Pashto / Dari
• Good knowledge and skill of Computer office automation programs,
