Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international, non-profitable, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization with its head quarter in Birmingham, UK. It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Job Summary

To assist the IT team in day-to-day technical tasks, support IT projects, and gain hands-on experience in information technology.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.

• Help with setting up computers and IT equipment.

• Support in maintaining and updating software and systems.

• Assist in data entry and organizing technical records.

• Help the IT team with daily administrative tasks.

• Assist with IT-related projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor in Computer Science/IT or any related field

Experience:

• Fresh Graduate with no experience

Required Skills and Qualities:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and file documents accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to learn and improve record-keeping skills.

The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Azizi Bank ) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
