Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Job Summary

Islamic Relief Afghanistan is looking for a qualified employee who has experience in the related field (Payroll Management) and S/He will report directly to the Senior HR Payroll & Compensation Officer, The Payroll and Compensation Assistant will perform the following duties:

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data Collection for the payroll from the Islamic Relief Area & Provincial Offices.
  • Assist the Senior HR Payroll and Compensation Officer on monthly payroll.
  • Prepare summary of monthly attendance report for the main offices.
  • Review monthly attendances of Country & Area Offices.
  • Tracking of Employee’s Leave on a monthly and daily basis.
  • Collect and review timesheets on monthly basis of Country and Area Offices.
  • Daily attendance report tracking and generating reports from the system and follow up with related department heads.
  • Add the new joiners and remove the leavers in the attendance sheet.
  • Printing ID Cards for the new joiners.
  • Preparing Staff contract extensions if needed.
  • Regularly updating HRIS Human Resources Information System.
  • Follow up timesheet with the staff on monthly basis.
  • De-Activating of leavers emails on time.
  • Preparing employment certificate for the leavers.
  • Prepare the staff contact list and update it regularly.
  • Preparing and updating office files and keeping records properly.
  • Assist the Senior HR Officer Payroll on daily duties.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Must have bachelor’s degree in BBA (Business Administraiton, HRM, or Economics.)

 

Job Requirements:

  • Have knowledge of HRIS System.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Tax Calculations. Ability to work both independently and as an effective team player.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate in English, Pashto, and Dari.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and Administration.
  • Knowledge of Afghanistan Labor Law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Specially Excel)
