Job Summary

The Senior Bridge Engineer shall be responsible to review and verify the already prepared 35% and 65% design for civil structures such as bridges, RC box culverts, RC pipe culverts, slope protection structures such as gabion and stone masonry walls, drainage and river training structures.

The Senior Bridge Engineer shall be working with Senior Highway Engineer, and provide the following that includes but not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of Senior Bridge Engineer will include but not limited to:

Review the already prepared 35% and 65% design
Verify and check the drawings for any missing details
Conduct a site inspection with plans in hand
Verify the structural sizing and location at site and compare with designs
Review the technical specifications for road structures and provide expert recommendation if deemed necessary
Any other task assigned by the technical deputy minister

The verification and review of the designs shall be completed in three (3) months.

Job Requirements

Having Master or its equivalent degree with 5 years working experience or having Bachelor’s degree with 7 years relevant experience. Candidates having experience in implementation of Project Management by the developing partners will be given preference.
